In this Instagram age, it is easier than ever to see someone else's life and wish that we had what they have. The Tenth Commandments warns against coveting and elsewhere it says that coveting is actually self-idolatry. We are putting these things on a pedestal. The new house, the new car, the awesome vacation, the perfect little family, the new job, the different life. When we focusing on the treasures of this earth, we lose sight of the eternal treasures of God.
