The Israelites could only enter the courtyard. The priests could only enter the Holy Place. The High Priest could enter the Most Holy Place, but only once a year. Because of Jesus, we can enter God's Presence at any time for any reason. We no longer need a priest to minister on our behalf. Jesus was our High Priest. He offered Himself as a sacrifice. God accepts His perfect sacrifice, once for all. Now all that receive that sacrifice are granted mercy.
